Hi guys,
first post updated with how-to manuals for Slic3r Beta install.

Regarding issues with Slic3r, I will ask our devs.

2 Bugs:

1.With extruder-body.stl If i turn model 180° on Z slic3r ignore my setting about solid top/bottom layer !! In the sliced model can u see 1/2 top solid layer instead of 6 (that's my choice)...

2. when 2 or more models are on a plate, if you move in rare case everything disappear or go away from plate 😕

Could you please be more specific? Could you please post a github issue and describe the problem in detail?

Any news on the corner retraction / z hop issue reported? The 'dents' on layer corners are really annoying 🙁

I guess a new beta is due soon, right? 😆

one option I would like to see in the next beta is selective supports like in S3D.
I haven't had much luck with the prusa slic3r edition, I am a new user but it seemed to be very all or nothing even when adjusting the values.
has anyone else found this?
Cheers
Shaun

Re: Slic3r 1.34.1 - Prusa Edition (Beta)

I installed the latest drivers (1.77) and followed all the info on github about installing the beta version of slic3r (Slic3r 1.34.1 - Prusa Edition (Beta)). Now the slic3r-pe or any other version of slic3r will not start up.
Can't figure out where i am going wrong. Don't have any version of slic3r that is usable. I then I uninstalled all the Prusa previous installs before I tried it again so I presume i started with a clean slate. What could be the reason slic3r doesn't fire up? Double click on the screen icon, get the spinning working item for a few seconds then nothing. What file or DLL could be missing? Or what else could I have messed up?
Thought I would try this new beta because the slic3r 1.33 version gave me mounds of spaghetti or huge mounds of melted filament.

No answers? Has no one ran into this problem?
Slic3r does not show up in task manager after clicking on icon.
Could this be some king of graphics driver problem? I am running the latest version of drivers for my NVidia card.
Why is there no message when program tries to boot up but doesn't.
Is this some kind of evil scheme from the Simplify 3D group to get me to pony up and pay for their software?
Have Trump's cronies infiltrated the SLic3r collective?

Re: Slic3r 1.34.1 - Prusa Edition (Beta)

Solved. Finally got slic3r to fire up. Had to go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Prusa3D and delete the Prusa directory that contained all the Backup info for it to work. Then I proceeded to install the latest drivers and now Slic3r works.
