Extruder slipping or blockage. Everything is in the right place - just not enough of it.

You are right . Looks like the extruder is blocked. Tried to bring the temperature high 260 - 270 degrees and pushed some abs in , but didn't fix the problem. Also tried to push the cleaning pin when the head was still hot , but it doesn't go through. Looks like I have to take the extruder apart and investigate the problem. 9 hours of printing ruined. 🙁

It happened when using some Verbatim pla. Didn't happen until now.

Just an update,

Managed to take the extruder apart and managed to clear the extruder blockage. Printed few parts using some of the PLA that came with the printer and everything went very well. After I changed back to the Verbatim black PLA , the extruder is blocked again. I have used PLA , ABS and PETg , but never had a problem. Looks like is something wrong with this particular filament. I need to find some time to clean the head again.

I know there's many people out there that love Verbatim PLA, i however, avoid it like the plague.. I tossed 2 rolls in the bin and won't buy it ever again. Maybe check filament diameter, that could give a clue why it keeps clogging.

I have used some PETg at 250 degrees and managed to unblock the nozzle without having to open it. I am printing some parts right now using the PETg and the print is perfect so far.

stephan.k what PLA and PETg brands are you using ?
