Normal slope results???

Been getting poor quality on slopes with supports on normal print setting (slightly modified) with PLA. Also had similar results on a slope with standard normal setting in Slic3r Prusa Edition. Is this normal or is something wrong with my printer or settings?

Full (still upside down from initial print position)

Supports don't seem to help.

Re: Normal slope results???

Can you try printing the pre-sliced triceratops skull?

Here's the underside of mine after supports removed (sorry, it's black, but I can assure you it's pretty damned good... 🙂

Maybe the following will help:
- Slowing down the print.
- Adding a extra perimeter / wall
- increasing the flow / extrusion rate

Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm going to print the triceratops from the SD card first. Though my filament reserves are quite low so I doubt I'll be able to finish it. Nevertheless, it should give a good indicator of the overhang quality.

Do you guys do anything different when working with sloping overhangs or just use the standard settings?

Well, I slice with KISS, but that's about the only difference - except that I also have the MM upgrade and therefore use Bowden tubes.

Ok here are the results!

Overall the quality is beyond what I expected so it definitely seems like a problem with the settings. Was the skull using the standard optimal print quality with supports?

All the settings are at the start of the GCode file.

Looks to be 0.15mm but there are some modified settings; unfortunately I could not tell you what those are.

Thank you again!
As long as its not the printer then I can just change the settings.
