New to printing, reoccurring misprint on side Help

I'm new to 3d printing and just got a prusa i3 mk2s and I am having a weird misprint on taller objects. It seems to appear on one side. I tried to print a new filament holder that seems to print fine according to other users. I used the included Prusa slic3r edition. On taller print I get reoccurring patterns and I'm not sure what is causing it. Seems to be a different shape depending on the object printed. The shape only prints on the back side of the printer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me as if we're seeing the z-scar. When retraction settings aren't quite perfect, the printer leaves a tiny blob on each layer when it switches layers. I think that's what we're seeing in your pictures. I don't know if Slic3r shows retractions point, but if you use one who does, you'll probably find that these blobs on the prints are right there at the retraction points in the print preview

Two ways to approach it:

We can influence where this happens: most slicers have a way to randomize the location of the blobs or have them all occur in the same place (then you'll end up with a more or less straight line basically).

Or better yet: play with retraction settings to try and minimize the size of the blobs. To get them 100% gone is tricky, but usually it can get less obtrusive. Slightly longer retraction distance, more coasting, etc.
