Broken printer, cant get screw out...

So I am on day 5 of owning this printer. I have zero experience with a 3D printer. My first big print didn't stick to the plate and got hung up and I wasn't there to catch it. When I found it about an hour later there was filament all over the hotend. While trying to clean it all up I broke one of the wires to the hotend. Great first experience but my fault I suppose.

I have ordered a new hotend. Trying to get things ready to replace it. Now there is a screw in the extruder that the head is completely stripped out on so I cannot get it out. I have no idea how many ft lbs of torque were used to install but it is stuck and now the head is useless. Looking for the least destructive method for removing the screw so I can replace the hotend when it arrives.

I have to say my first foray into 3D printing is not going like I had imagined.

If I'm right these 4 screws hold the motor together. You do not need to remove them. The motor is screwed to plastic from the other side.

I agree with hendrik those screws are part of the motor assembly.
You should follow:
http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/0.+Disassembly/322#s5485

For instructions to take apart extruder and putting it back togther.
It's for the MK2 to MK2S upgrade, but you can use it to see how the extruder to taken apart and put together.

If everything else fails maybe these could be an option.

Don't know how small you can get.

Thanks all. I got the screw out without any damage but as you said, I didn't need to. I have the hotend out and waiting on a replacement. Hope this is my last costly learning lesson...
