Print head rumbling at left side at beginning and end of print

I've just successfully upgraded my MKs2 with the multimaterial kit. So far I only printed one material through Extruder 1. The prints are coming out all nice and are placed correctly on the the printing bed. However at the beginning and end of each print the print head tries to move outside the printing area and rumbles against the left edge of the rails for a few seconds. What could be wrong here? Thanks

You have something, probably a cable tie head at the rear of the extruder hitting the frame, preventing the X end stop being triggered.

yeah right! it was actually that easy thanks.
All the cables going out from the back really create a thick bundle which comes too close to the electronics case. but moving/bending everything slightly helped. thanks.
