Multimaterial finally setup. but bowden, filament, and festo fittings stuck and filament too. Need replacements please.

So,
I finally got everything setup and calibrated best I could with Pinda. I had tested/re-adjusted the extruder motors a few times to make sure things caught and went through. I have one where it took a few times (E2) and E4 where it didn't catch at all first time so I did it manually.

---Filament Aside Question ---
Also before I go ahead i only have one PLA and one ABS filament. I've been printing exclusively with PETG for the last year since it's so much easier to get stuck on the surface and with shrinking. Any help getting those filament settings in simplify3d or the printer thing would be awesome :).
------

So almost all of the filaments on load got stuck on the hot end entry near the bowden. It took a few tries on two of the extruders. I had to completely remove one festo to guide it through and then put that back on.

On my final one I was totally and completely stuck. The bowden was stuck in festo. I could not remove it (pinching blue part down and pulling out) and trying with two people etc.. the filament had gotten itself stuck right before the bowden or near it and I couldn't budge it.

Sadly i HAD to cut the bowdown tube 1inch up from festo found filament stuck on both sides. And an hr plus in i still can't get the bowden cut, scraped, pulled nada out of the festo nor the filament out :(..

I need new festo and probably new bowden and get an idea on how to get that adjusted a bit better.

Can I get replacements for those? I'd like to buy a new heated bed as well to have a spare PEI bed setup, and a few PEI sheets.

If there's a way to get a festo/bowden done quicker in the meantime i don't mind buying from amazon if you guys have a part number that best resembles yours.. Seeing how I can't remove the bowden out no matter what we try and that almost ALL of the filament was catching on the festo/hotend part and took a few tried and/or adjusting of the festo (removal) I fear this may be a recurring issue so would be nice to have spares.

Including pictures of all of it. I did read about making the festo snug but too tight so I think i got that correct.

E2 caught right before/near festo and needed removal to get it to go down extruder: ?dl=0

Festo i had to cut off bowden. spent 1+hr trying to remove plastic and filament to no avail: ?dl=0

after cutting festo filament goes through bowden just fine: ?dl=0

Your best bet is to go to the prusa shop webseite, login with the account you used for ordering your printer and click the Live Chat button in the lower right corner and talk to a support rep.

PEI sheets and replacement beds are in a hidden section of the prusa store that support can give you access to. Theres also a section for spare Multi Material Upgrade parts, but this is empty atm (for me at least). Support might be able to help you anyway.

Hi,
I emailed support after as well just in case. They have been outstanding in the past. I had seen the heated bed when i originally bought it but then they vanished from the accessories site. Thanks for letting me know they're just in a hidden side.

I'd like to buy bowden and Festo parts locally if possible to get them quicker without absurd shipping and international stuff (should be a simple part) i just would like to match it/them if possible. I assume they're not all created equal though as mine failed.

Festo style connectors and ptfe tube can be bought on ebay, but some of the connectors have bigger bodies than the original equipment, I have one working fine on the multiplexor, at the moment, but having two side by side might be difficult...

you could put them at the motor end of the ptfe tubes... and use the smaller ones at the multiplexor end.

note the 4x2 PTFE is ok for the bowdens but it is not ok for the cold end heatsink liner which is a special liner with (i Believe) A 1.9MM BORE

best wishes, Joan
