Re: MMU still just not ready for sale
Honestly, I second that. It would be worth the money if it worked out of the box, as it is now the kit is overpriced.
If you have no plan B what to do with the hardware if the company goes bust today, do not buy it. I bought it because I wanted to support their (software) development, but was aware that at least half the money is wasted if it doesn't work. But then again I build a lot of stuff and electronics components never rest long in my shelf.
If you use your printer commercially or it is your only machine supporting some hobby of yours, stick away.
