Can't flash firmware - device not migrated

I'm trying to flash pruda3d_fw_3_0_12 after finishing my MM upgrade, but the Firmware Update does not list any available COM ports, even after a rescan. Device Manager shows the prusa on COM9, The driver is from from Prusa, not Microsoft; I had to delete the Microsoft driver to get Prusa's to win out. Looking at the driver Propeties/Events, it seems "more installation" is needed. Tracing through the complete event viewer shows the "Device Not Migrated". As far as I can tell, this means the driver is incompatible with Windows 10, or at least the latest update of it. Nothing I've tried has worked. How do I proceed? Thanks.

Never got the Prusa Firware Updater to work; used XLoader instead.

Try zadig if you haven't already sorted it out. I used it to install the drivers for quadcopters and i haven't had a problem with my printer recognizing.
