I haven't had enough time to assemble things in a timely fashion, so I'm left with multiple upgrades to complete. I have a fully assembled and functional MK3. I received but never assembled the MMU1 package, followed by the MMU2/MK3S upgrade package, and printed the MK3S parts.
At this point, I just want to confirm what is the best path forward? After reading this post, I believe I should incrementally install and test the MK3S upgrade first, which has its own straightforward instructions. Then, after getting that fully up and running, I should install MMU2 from scratch. There will be lots of unused parts leftover from MMU1, but the assembly should be covered by the MMU2 installation procedure.
Am I approaching this correctly? I don't have a lot of time for missteps, so I want to plan properly. Thanks!
