Unusual Failed ABS Infill

After replacing the thermistor and nozzle, ABS filament fails to extrude at one end (or area) of print after print base layer starts and is well under way. Each successive layer fails to extrude at the same spot leaving a gap in the print. Prusa Chat did not identify cause 🙁

Nozzle temperature on screen remains constant at 255C. Bed is constant at 105C. Printer is fully enclosed.

Hope you can help...

RE: Unusual Failed ABS Infill

Solution found:

Replaced thermistor (100K ohm @25C) but unable to reach desired temperature. Temperature remained less that 242C (set at 255C). Unable to extrude ABS- extrusion motor would skip.

Replaced heater (with a spare 12V, 40watt).

Temperature reached 255C quickly on nozzle. Waited for bed to catch up (105C). Extrusion was perfect. Trial print was awesome. All is good again.
