SD Card & USB Port Not Working

After some long needed upgrades yesterday (replacing the heating block/thermister/other assorted hotend parts), I went to start printing again and discovered that my USB Port connecting to the printers mobo is no longer working(?). I have tried different cables, and different computers to no avail.

This is in addition to the recent failure of the SD card reader (insofar as I can tell anyway). It used to show a line of rectangles when I plugged in an SD card, and I could access the file menu. Now, it shows a line of hollow circles when inserting and when entering the menu it says no SD card inserted. I have tried different microSD cards and SD cards, neither of which was helpful.

I have found a few issues resembling this online, some of which were resolved via exchanging/swapping out the LCD screens? This prompted me to inspect the board connections to the LCD/SD Card (which I will most likely completely redo later if all else fails to ensure it's all kosher), and find them to be still seemingly satisfactory.

The rest of the printer seems to work flawlessly; I can heat, load & unload filament, calibrate with no errors, move axis, effectively any function available from the printer menu. Past that, I cannot import G-Codes as I cannot connect SD cards, and I cannot connect with USB.

I'm not sure how to proceed at this point, and I'd rather avoid just buying random spare parts or a new mobo; at that point I'm pretty much up for a i3 MK3.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Apologies as I didn't understand the format of the forum; if a moderator would like to move this to its appropriate subforum, that would also be appreciated.
