Question about upgrading from MK2 (not 2S) to MK2.5

I recently bought the upgrade kit to upgrade to MK2.5. I forgot that there was a 2S between my MK2 and the MK2.5, so I didn't order the new hardened smooth rods, the new bearings, or the U-bolts. Is there a good way to find these parts without ordering the MK2 to MK2S upgrade kit? (I'd like to avoid having to pay the high cost of shipping again). Will I regret it if I do not upgrade these parts as I'm upgrading to MK2.5?

Thanks

Hi Jeremy,

You only need the U bolts (it's more like really nice to have). If your parts are still in good shape, you can keep the rods and bearings.
Depends where you live, you can search for "U-bolts for LM8UU".

If your rods/bearings are already heavily used, then I would suggest to get the upgrade kit MK2->MK2S from PR or source it from any your preferred location.

Thanks Nikolai. I will go ahead and order U-bolts, as I am pretty sure that my bearings and rods are fine.
