I am not a specialist I need help with bed level calibration

Hello. My English is poor... I can't find Mesh bed leveling settings on the LCD screen to increase the calibration points from Mesh 3x3 to Mesh 7x7. Would OCTOPRINT be a good solution (although I think technically it is beyond my skills.)

Thank you

RE: I am not a specialist I need help with bed level calibration

Good afternoon Hiram,

You are posting in the mk2 forum, so I assume you have a mk2 Prusa,

To the best of my knowledge the Mk2 does not do 7x7 mesh bed levelling off the LCD

On the Mk3 printer, it is in the Serttings Sub menu.

have you tried

Life Adjust 'Z' My Way     ?
https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

there is a ZIP File, at the bottom of the first post,
This file contains three  files ,   one each, for PLA, PETG and ABS

choose the file for your filament and give this process a try,

the actual values are unique to MY Printer, but the difference in values can give you an idea about how much difference, small changes in value, can make, to the surface finish.
regards Joan

Hello and thank you for this answer.
My problem is that the quality of the first layer VARIES with the location of the heated bed where the impression is made.
Also that I bought a Prusament PLA Prusa Galaxy Black filament which is a nightmare to set up.

My printer is Prusa I3 Mk2s

PLEASE ZOOM

@joantabb

Hello and thank you ! The problem with me is not to adjust Z in one place but to correct Z in multiple places on the board. I'm quite disappointed with Prusa's help desk as it seems they are dropping users of the models before MK3
