Y-Axis: X-Axis carriage right and left side screw tap holes don't align to head bed holes

I finally had the time to assemble my MK3S and I discovered that the screw tap holes on the Y-Axis: X-Axis carriage  do not line up with the right and left side screw holes on the heat bed. The center holes line up fine, but as u can see from the attached pictures, the holes are way off. So I am only able install the spacers and screws down the center row of screw holes.

I thought I installed it wrong, but it is the only way the bearings fit into the slots on the carriage. Has anyone else had this issue? I'd hate to have to drill and tap new holes.

Thanks,

Danny

Have you checked, that both parts (Y-axis carrier and heatbed) have the correct orientation - assembly instruction does great job here.

Best regards, Clemens

@clemens-m

You're right, the single bearing should be on the right side of the printer and the double bearings should be on the left. Oh man it's going to an interesting experience disassembling it.

THANK YOU!!!
