Prusa Logo Test Print Fails Same Place Every Time

Hello,

I just received a Prusa i3 Mk2. It arrived already assembled from a friend who had not been using it. I followed the calibration steps in this video:

Everything worked as expected, although the V2 Calibration was shifted by about 4mm to the right and I did get a warning that the X/Y is skewed severely but it will correct by itself.

I'm trying to print the Prusa logo test print mentioned at 17:00 in the above video however it keeps failing at the same place. The hotend then hovers slowly along the bed surface toward the back left.. Please see attached photos.

If anyone could please let me know why this is happening and how to solve this that would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Prusa Logo Test Print Fails Same Place Every Time

Are you using gcode that came on the SD card as sometimes the file can become corrupted and cause the print to fail. Considering the fail happens in the same place and the printer does some odd movement this seems likely.
Here is a link to the stl: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/3162

Put it into PrusaSlicer and make your own gcode, if the print fails again or this is your own gcode something else is wrong but we can fix that when we get there.

Keep the surface clean and free of grease. Otherwise, your first layer will have trouble sticking to the print bed. Before starting any of your prints from ABS, PLA and many other materials myprepaidcenter card
