Loctite process

Nothing like holding your printer upside-down for 20 minutes while your loctite sets

Re: Loctite process

Wow, that's a lot of loctite. I thought you need only a drop. After all you do want to be able to remove it in the future if needed.

In this case, it is much better to use a small drop of hot glue instead of loctite. It is much easier to apply and it is much easier to remove.

Yeah, it was too much, the stuff is like water and it isn't like I was in a comfortable position to be precise. I hope to never have to undo it. My Z adjustment is just -530 so I have some space.

You never want the pinda probe to move. Ever. Best case your prints fail for not sticking to the bed. Worse case, you damage your bed.

I broke my Extruder housing while trying to remove my pinda for some maintenance. An i only used a small bit of loctite as i am used to from my rc Helis. That pinda holder is quite flimsy.
