MK2.5s upgrade MAX TEMP error

|Hi,

I completed my MK2.5s upgrade early hours this morning and decided to test after getting some sleep.

I performed the firmware update and managed to do the xyz calibration, but it wouldn't preheat showing a temp issue.  After investigating, I double checked the RAMBO and it seems in my sleep deprived state, I got the hotend thermistor and the fan plugged the wrong way around.

I swapped these back and now get MAX TEMP error with an ear piercingly continuous beep.  Have I shorted something out when I had them in the wrong position?  Unplugging the thermistor, I don't get any errors and only when preheating, I get the "MIN TEMP" error.  I can't see any breakages in the cable either.

I also tried a firmware update with the cables plugged in correctly in case that resets anything, but no joy.

Looking for some advice as I have no idea how to fix this issue.  And if I need to replace anything, what would I need to replace?
