I got a catastrophic fail...print lifted off and started balling up into the extruder. So I moved up the Z axis, preheated, and pulled off the huge chunk of PLA. The printer shut off during the extraction of PLA, and won't turn back on.
The heat cartridge wires are definitely torn. The blue thermocouple is probably OK, but hard to tell. Besides replacing the heater cartridge, what else should I check out?

Chances are you have blown a blade fuse as well on the Rambo. You can see if they are broken easily enough. That aside I would order the 40W heat cart and a spare thermister just in case anyway.
