Hotend assembly - pre-tightened from Prusa?

Hi,

When bying the complete hotend assembly replacement from Prusa, is the nozzle/heatbreak on this already correctly tightened or do I need to heat up the nozzle and tighten it.

My guess is not - I believe this is the same assembly you get with a new prusa Mk3s+ kit, and the assembly instructions for that kit does not mention any heatup-tightening of nozzle. So, do they preheat and tighten to torque at the Prusa factory?

My printers: Mk3s / Mk3s clone with +upgrdaes (you know SPinda and all that good stuff) / Mini+ / Ender 3 v2

Good question

I am not 100% certain, but I have always tried to tighten it and it was already tight for me.

Better safe than sorry!

Considering the hassle a loose E3D hotend cleanup causes, it's probably best to check it hot.

Am really glad I switched to a Mosquito, as I often switch nozzle sizes.

nightmare

I have to agree with always checking.  I still do event though I have never had to tighten.  The clean ups are a nightmare.

True...but...

I agree. But then why do Prusa not mention this in the assembly manual for new printers?
