Uneven Layers with "cracks"

Hi there,
as you might've already seen on this picture - there are some kind of holes or cracks on the layers of this print (best visible on the longest part). Do you know how to avoid it? At first I thought it's the seam but it's not.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Were there any popping sounds during the print?

Is it possible your filament is damp?

No popping sounds, more like crackling sizzling sounds. But I do have those sounds even with completely new filament / prusament.

OK. If the filament is damp, water boils off in tiny explosions which can cause fluctuations in the printing pressure. "crackling sizzling sounds" might indicate that process.

Look for threads on here about drying filament.  Try to get enough filament thoroughly dry to do a test print.

Thanks so far for your help! Unfortunately I do not think that this is the case, because it happens with freshly unpacked prusament too - which should be dry, right?

"which should be dry, right?" The emphasis here is on should. If you're hearing a crackling fizzing sound, the most likely cause is wet filament.
