PETG Heavily Sticking to Heatbed

I am having a problem with leftover material on the heatbed after printing with PETG. I clean my bed every 2 or 3 prints with 99% ISO.

So every time I get my print off the heatbed, there is always some leftover material from supports and etc. and it is SUPER hard to get it off, and Im done with it.

Any suggestions?

PETG sticks very well to the smooth pei sheet, if you want to use that plate then clean as normal with iso then apply a little window cleaner with a separate cloth, or you can use a different type of plate like the satin or textured but I always had issues with the textured so I tend to use one side of the smooth for PLA and another for PETG/ASA. Also worth noting that for PETG, etc you want your Z-adjust to be a little higher than for PLA as it doesn't like being too squished and can cause nozzle dragging issues during the print.

Try plastic razor blades.

I use a combination of Elmers washable purple school glue stick and Blue Windex on the bed. Draw a pattern with the glue stick, then spray with Windex. Take a tissue, better yet a Kimwipe, and mix it all around to a light purple color. The ratio of glue stick to Windex determines how tightly the PETG sticks. Use more Windex for parts with a small bed surface, and more glue stick for parts with a large area on the bed.

Regards,

Mark

You shouldn't have a problem removing any leftovers with hot water and dish washing soap. Don't hesitate to take a (unused) soft plastic cleaning pad to it.

Thanks for the advice but I already figured it out by myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I got my PETG unstuck from the bed and I experimented by lowering the bed temperature while printing and that fixed everything. Prints are coming off the bed very nicely and there is no warping for parts. I do have to wait a bit for the bed to cool down so it would be even easier to get the Skirt off much more easily

I just followed @Foxytisy's advice of lowering the bed temperature for Prusament PETG from 85 / 90 to 85 / 80 °C (1. Layer / Other Layers) and thePrusament PETG didn't stick so heavy to my Double-sided Powder-coated PEI Satin Spring Steel Sheet. Seems to be a solution I'll explore further.

Sorry for the (very) late reply but as for context for my solution, I used a smooth PEI sheet. Personally I don't own a Powder-coated sheet so I cant test it.
I've now mostly switched over to mostly PLA since its suuuper easy to print but the times I do use PETG, I have always lowered the temperature inside PrusaSlicer and it has worked every time.
