First Custom Print (PETG)

Hello, I printed my first home made design using Prusa PETG Black. The print was successful, but I'm curious what I can change to make it cleaner. I know there is a mess in each of the slots too, so that is going to be fun to clean up. Each slot is about 1mm wide. Also, any cleaning tips are welcome. Or maybe there is a better material for this that prints better with such gaps.

Furry print

That is stringing.  It could be due to the heat temp or a hydrated PETG filament.

Yes, after I posted, I went and read a few other posts here and since have learned a few things. I am going to make some adjustments to the model/settings as well and try again after I dry my filament properly. Thank you.

If those slots are 1mm wide then presumably the dividers are as narrow.  This invites problems, if posible widen both the slots and the dividers.

I'd love to not have to widen them too much, but I will if absolutely necessary. The part is for a card game to keep cards organized while adding/removing them from a stack.

Getting clean narrow verticals in PETG is possible but tricky.   You might try making a mounting space at top and bottom then printing the actual dividers flat before stacking and fitting them later.

That is an idea I will definitely keep in mind. The print doesn't have to be PETG and I am going to try the next build in PLA. Thank you for the suggestion.

An update. I printed again with properly dried PLA and some other adjustments to the model, and the final result (minus some width calculations) is spot on and the slots are just what I wanted!
