Any experience with Eryone Matte PLA?

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Eryone Matte PLA? DOes it need a hardened nozzle? I get great results with standard Eryone PLA, it's become my go to for cheap PLA from Amazon.

Wondered if I need to buy a new nozzle for it.

Thanks

Paul

Any luck printing with it?

Hi Paul,

Any luck printing with the Eryone Matte PLA? I have some Matte Olive Green that I'm getting ready to print with and was wondering what settings you used.

Thanks,

Steve

Yes, I printed the eryone matte PLA on the default PLA profile and it printed fine, looks really good.

0.6mm

I just remembered, I did use a 0.6mm nozzle, but I’m sure it would also be good on the standard. I have started to use a 0.6mm a lot as it’s much faster and the results are still very good.

Nozzle

I used the generic PLA and a 0.4 nozzle.

My results – more flow, less speed

So I used the generic PLA profile with my 0.4 nozzle. I did have some under-extrusion, both on the first layer and subsequent layers. I played with the flow rate and the print speed while printing and had some luck with 110% flow rate, and 90% speed. In the end, I'm not sure these would be the final parameters to use, but it did well enough on the print that I'm happy with it.
