y axis belt replacement
i messed up n block my y axis during print n the belt came loose.
i havent went in to take a closer look to check the damage yet.
in the event that i need to change the belt, will it be possible to buy from my local hardware store? instead rtom prusa shop?
what's the belt specs?
is it the same as Creality?
Belt info
Y-axis belt 496 mm
GT2 belt, 6mm wide, 496mm long. Same as creality (except length is different.) I had bought about 6 feet as replacements for my Ender 3. Wound up using some on the clone mini I built as the ones that it came with were pretty much junk. Recommend getting some gates replacements if you don't want to buy from PRUSA.

Service life on these belts is 50 years .... just saying

Try Step 30 Y-belt tensioning.
if fail, then loosen Step 17 Mounting the MINI-Y-belt-idler.
redo Step 28 Y-axis belt guidance,
then check Step 29 Aligning the Y-axis belt
tighten again for Step 30 Y-belt tensioning.
dont tighten too much
it took me a few tries to get it right.
