I would be interested in an updated profile too. The old ones don't seem to work. I had the problem with my other printers profile too.

I like PrusaSlicer a lot but sometimes I just need Curas adaptive layers and tree supports.

PrusaSlicer has adaptive layers already, but yes, the different support options would be really nice from Cura!

Didn't know about that. But it's just a manual process and not what I meant. I don't want this to be click and drag which is very inaccurate and prone to errors but an automated process which deviates from my set height to increase details only where necessary.

With the recent PrusaSlicer update, the variable layer height process is fully automated. There are sliders for quality (range of deviation) and both coarse and smooth options. It's easy to tweak settings and view the results on the fly. You can make fine adjustments with the mouse.

RE: WIP: Cura Printer Definition/Profile for the Mini

Came here for the same reasons, looking to see if there is an available Prusa Mini profile for the latest version of Cura.   I have a small switch body I printed on my Ender 3, using PLA-CF, and Cura (a fairly old version) - and it simply prints better than my Mini - I assume it's not a function of the printer, but the slicer - so I'd like to try to slice the STL in Cura and see if that makes a difference.....

Thanks for your work, I really appreciate your effort.

But i had a weird problem when i tried it with the newest Cura Version (4.6.2?):

I started a print and the first line oft the skirt printed well until it reached a rounded corner. There the X/Y movement slowed down very much, but the extruder extruded much more material... so there was a quite big blob at the corner.

I installed the profile again but the problem persisted.

Any Ideas what might have gone wrong? anyone had the same issue?
