moving the motherboard out of the enclouser

hey, I have a enclouser for my mini. I will only print ASA. I need a constant temp and I also have a hepa and carbon filter. (home printing).
the temperature is currently around 40-45 degrees Celsius, but when summer comes, it will probably jump up significantly ...

I'm worried about electronics. wants to move the motherboard out of the case. question. was someone doing this? the only thing that comes to mind is to simply untangle the cables by soldering. Will adding e.g. 60cm more wire on each cable affect the quality? and action? please advise!

Hi

Wouldn't be easier modding the pcb cover by placing a fan that takes air from the outside through a pipe?

Seems like it would just be easier to put heatsinks on the things that get hot like the motor drivers and the processor and perhaps put a small fan inside the electronics box to keep air moving over the heatsinks. This would at least help keep them at the ambient temp of the enclosure which should not be an issue for these chips.

I'd be (and actually am) more concerned about the PETG parts of the mini. But so far no one seems to have had issues of that kind with an enclosed Mini. Maybe I'd leave the electronics compartment open.
I'm going to rebuild my current eclosure to fit the Mini and I want to integrate automatic temp management. I think it's anyway a good idea to filter the air.
