Mintemp and watchdog errors during prints

My Mini is currently down due to some randomly-occurring errors. Sometimes they occur a few seconds into a print, other time it's an hour in. If I have a filament change in my gcode, it almost always occurs immediately after the change is completed. It's always one of two things -- either a watchdog error, or a mintemp error.

It seems like there's an issue with the heatbed, but I'd like to try replacing the wiring before I completely replace the heatbed. The printer is just over 6 months old, and probably only has a few hundred hours of print time, so I wasn't expecting this sort of failure this early.

Anyway, a few questions:

  • Is it worth the effort to try to replace the wiring, or should I just buy a new heatbed?
  • Is it even possible to replace the thermistor wiring?
  • If so, what connectors I need to replace the plug ends?
  • Is it possible that I've misdiagnosed the issue, and it's something else completely?

Any advice is appreciated.

Forgot to mention that I did test the heatbed and thermistor resistance with a multimeter -- they both seem to be in or close to an appropriate value (98k for the thermistor at room temp, 5k for the heatbed)

This thread might be helpful for you:

Bed thermistor failing -known-issue?

From what I gather You should not have to replace the entire bed, only the thermistor and its cable will need to be replaced (it should still be under warranty for you). The procedure does not appear to be complicated. However, some have seen it happening again after replacement. It might be a good idea to follow one of the solutions in the thread about and protect the cables coming from the heatbed.

Posting to follow up, in case anyone else having a similar issue sees this post. The issue was the bed thermistor. I contacted Prusa, and they shipped out a replacement, which was covered under the warranty. After replacing the bed thermistor, the printer is fully functional again.
