Cleaning the Extruder

What's the best way to clean the extruder?   If I brush it, the trash that comes free falls somewhere into the body of the extruder, and I would like to be able to remove it properly.

Do you mean the gears?  I use a small micro vacuum tip.

Thanks Charles.   I'll see what I can put together.   Perhaps a length of thin 1/4 inch  tube connected to the home vacuum.

I cleaned my extruder with a needle and compressed air, worked perfectly.

I found the answer to my question here.....  https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-access-and-clean-the-extruder-pulley-mini_126457

I have not yet disassembled the extruder to clean it out, but anticipate a build up of material.

I ordered a 12 pack of compressed air: Dust-Off DPSXLRCP Disposable Duster, 12 pack
