Bondtech Upgrades: Flow/Speed Settings

For those whom have upgraded to the Bondtech extruder or heat break, have you adjusted any flow/speed settings?

Since the heat break is shorter, is less retraction required? Noticing some under extrusion. Not sure if I’m not flowing enough or retracting too much.

thank you!

RE: Bondtech Upgrades: Flow/Speed Settings

I've been using the Bondtech heatbreak for about a week and the only change needed was to put in the PID values (M301 P13.54 I0.98 D46.58) ,recommended by Bondtech, in the start G-code for the printer.

All the filaments have been behaving since the upgrade.

I have followed you advise and ordered the heatbreak also, is there a document included or did you find the PID values somewhere else? (if so please include link)

thanks for the tip 🙂
