I bought the bondtech dual drive upgrade when I ordered my mini, but I'm holding off until the mini firmware supports saving the steps/mm setting to eeprom. Apparently this has been a known bug for some time.
Does anyone know if/when this will happen?

I believe that is permanent changed from 4.0.5 firmware.
Esteps can be set in slicers start code.

Just add a start gcode to filament and printer gcode.
Why filament? As a small "failsafe" , once my slicer defaulted to stock settings and it took me a day to figure underextrusion problems.
