I guessing 7-10 days.  Either shipped or an update.

I've seen that Prusa printers ship with a T-Shirt and Gummy Bears!!  Assuming the Mini is the same, how do you let them know what size to ship? - I like company's that do that - we also ship a t-shirt with our product!

And there are still no customer reviews about the beta besides photos on twitter. Is there some time-based NDA in place? I want in depth reviews that fill the gap till the end of november.

My guess is popular reviewers have some units and are squeezing them, they are suspiciously silent in conversations 😀 There is probably some NDA, you don't see anything else but prints on Twitter for example right now and not much in terms of other features (besides what Mikolas posts) so some firmware features may not be finished yet, like web interface? We'll see reviews soon, I am certain.

How long does it usually take from when the money leaves your account and the order state changes from 'Waiting for payment'?

A day or so but not on weekends.

I ordered on the 5th and and the money was taken out of my account the same day but the order still says 'Waiting for payment'.  Looks like I'll have to contact the card company as  I've tried messaging, emailing, and real time chat with prusa but they couldn't confirm if they had received my money!

I can't edit my post so I'm replying to my own post with an update.

I have received an email back stating everything is in order and I'm good to go... so add me to the list of those waiting on their first 3D printer 🙂

I don't want to scare you guys, but what will you do if the shipping will get delayed (like for any other Prusa printers so far) 😋

I for one will discover what happens when you buy and pay tax for something as a member of the EU but then get it shipped to you when you are not. Does it go through customs without duty because it wasn't due when it was paid for? Do I pay duty but then have to claim the tax back afterwards because VAT should have been raised here? Will no legislative body know what is going on and in the chaos they all try to make me pay twice for each possibility? Who knows. Probably the third one.

I would not be upset if there is a delay, but it will surprise me with the lengths they went to reassure folks it would ship on time.

@matthewmeek

Additional taxes (like import duties) are being paid when the product is crossing a border. Whatever you've paid during purchase are only sales taxes based on current regulations. If the regulations will change, then during customs clearance you will be told what's missing.

Good luck!

Maybe buying Ender 3 currently on sale to just have a toy until mini arrives?

I know what you mean.  I'm already going through a similar issue with an item I backed on Kickstarter which shouldn've been delivered in March, with all of the delays in manufacturing now I'm not sure if I'll be slapped with import duties (they wanted $65 extra to pay the duties during the last week of October and wouldn't budge on 1st Nov even though we are still a member of the EU).  I paid the VAT and delivery as a member of the EU, and will be stung on import duties to save the rich on their tax bills, and now I'm doing the same here!

I'll... wait longer? 😓 I have things to experiment with to keep me occupied, 3D printer at immediate disposal would just make it much easier.

Correct. But once UK is out, there will be some for people importing to UK.

Thanks for accepting my correction to your falsehood. Brexiteer?  " There will be some will be some for people importing to UK"?  Money?  Tax avoidance.. that's what got us in this mess in the first place!

Sorry, pissed off that engineers will be restricted due to some ritch minorities wh ocan afford but don't want to pay their tax!
