Ordered my Original Prusa Mini, Delivery sometime in February, Should I wait?
I was surprised when the order showed it wont ship until sometime in February.
Should I just wait or is there a better option I can buy now?
I dont mind spending a little more IF its worth it

The Original Prusa MINI started production at the end of November and shipping started in December - only backlog of orders from the first announcement day - October 12th, 2019 (we will not probably manage absolutely all of them). Orders from October 13th, 2019 and rest of October continue in January and February, new orders to be shipped in April 2020.

Alternative could be ordering i3 MK3S kit if your wallet can withstand twice as much damage. Or pre-assemvled if you do not want to assemble the kit, but that's even more extra. I'd still recommend a kit unless you are super unsure about the process - manual is excellent, you learn few things about how it works along the way, which helps with maintenance and trobleshooting. Plus the satisfaction of building your own. And you get bigger pack of gummy bears.

Not trying to be a smartass but it says in the shop that new orders will probably be shipped in april. worth the wait though i guess. If small form factor wasn't a necessity for me, I'd order the big one. 🙂

It depends when you need your printer. I recommend MK3s kit at the moment. It's available and has stable firmware/hardware.
