Do bowden tubes wear out?
As the title says. Does the PTFE tube wear out with use over time or abrasive filament? What could be expected life-span and would that even matter in terms of overall printer life-span? I don't have experience with bowden systems, asking just in case.

I doubt it matters very much unless you don't have an all-metal hot-end. It's just a guidance mechanism rather than a critical component of the system.
I think it more likely the couplings on the end (Or just the ends in general getting chewed up) will chew it up beyond usability before the ID is worn out to the point it causes issues.
