Awful experience with DHL ordering Prusa Mini (Still missing)
So I ordered my mini in May, excited to see that it was shipped on Aug. 13th! The Estimated delivery date was Aug. 18th, great! So on Aug 16th it showed to have arrived in my province's sorting facility, looking good so far. August 18th comes and goes with no update, now the Estimated Delivery is not available. I decide to give them a day and call on Thursday they tell me they will ship it out the next day (today). I get no notifications that it's been shipped out so I call them again. Now I'm told that they had an incident where packages were stolen on the 15th and they don't actually know if they have my package or not anymore. This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable for a company. They also will not be able to investigate until Monday so who knows how long this will be in limbo for. If I could recommend Prusa to use anybody other than DHL I would. This has been a very frustrating experience.

DHL = "Deliveries Hopelessly Lost"
To be fair, if they had packages stolen I am not sure that is really their fault.

Have you been in touch with Prusa? As the delivery contract is between them and DHL, they will have to file the claim for lost goods, and hopefully will expedite a replacement if necessary.

Every company is only as good as its employees.
I recently ordered a new printer board, which was delivered after 2 days. Sometimes it even takes a week.
A shipment from Finland arrived in 3 days. However, I have to say that I live in Austria and the delivery times are a bit shorter.
For orders at Aliexpress I wait e.g. up to 3 months.
I am very satisfied with the Prusaservice.
Of course you can always optimize something, but they are constantly working on it.
Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

OTOH people here wrote horror stories about Fedex service and "never order shipping through Fedex" and "I always use DHL if available" so I guess you can just flip a coin, they are all the same.

@andytsa2 Any news? Since you mention your “province” and I too am awaiting my Mini in Canada I am curious to hear where things are at with your shipment. I very much hope it has been (or is in the process of getting) sorted out.
