Anyone got the Mini+ shipped to Canada

New to Prusa, im currently using a Monoprice Select Mini V2. So im looking to get the Mini+

Firstly I hope this is a big upgrade over my current machine and secondly how was import TAX, im thinking using UPS for the shipping, not had good luck with DHL and FedEx when it comes to import TAX for Ontario

I hear voxel factory sell Prusa in Canada but im not sure if they are authorized or not, I contacted Prusa last week to ask about Canadian dealers and they didn't suggest any, just said order from Prusa directly.

Is the mini+ fixed some of the issues I see some YouTubers had with the Mini such as QA regarding short boden tubes

My first printer was purchased though Voxel (a few years back), and while they are authorized and safe to order through you will need to contact Prusa after you receive the printer and get them to add you to their list so you have access to upgrades and replacement parts. It was enough of an issue that my next Prusa was purchased directly. I saved a little bit of money and the overall purchase and later support / upgrades were much easier. Every printer I have purchased afterwards has been directly through Prusa. I have ordered through DHL and UPS to BC multiple times. DHL is much cheaper, they charged 15 bucks for their broker fees plus taxes, whereas UPS charges a lot more (I think my last one was 45 plus taxes).

Both my mini's are not plus's and I have had zero issues printing with them. I like them so much I choose to print with them over my mk2.5s's 90% of the time.
