RE: Tools: What do you recommend?

My Pi is equipped with a touchscreen, keyboard dongle and 2 cams, therefore the connection to the Einsy via GPIO. 250000 baud are possible without any problem, correct configuration required.

I have read a lot about problems concerning fluctuating power supplies to the Pi and therefore I decided to supply it with a separate source. It works independently of the printer and takes over many control functions (Octoprint, ventilation, temperature, light, cams, printer on/off...).

works, works, without any problems - without yellow flash and hanging system 👍

I would recommend a good pair of Chanel Locks or a wrench to hold the heat block when removing a nozzle.  I like these two because then the handle is coated.

I just bought a photo booth on Amazon to help me take better photos.  I want to take better photos of my prints.

My wife bought me a new deburring tool.  I love the aluminum handle and weight of the tool.

Me too - I bought a Leatherman Supertool in 1995 - it is always with me - a loyal companion.

The Leatherman Supertool is nice.

As a combat veteran with 22 years of service and growing, I prefer the Gerber MP600 Needle Nose Multiplier or the Leatherman Wing Plus Multitool is a close second.  As a safety note, I have sutured more hands from a multitool than any other source of injury.

I have quite a collection.  Someone shipped me on on each of my 6 combat tours.

Nice tools!

The Gerber tools remind me a little bit of the Swiss knife, just the American version. The name Gerber sounds to me like it is of German origin.
The Leatherman and my Buck 110 have served me well over the years, even repairing the 3D printer.

Gerber is a company in Portland, OR.  The founder is of German ancestry.

Somehow funny. The Germans buy American tools, the Americans buy German tools.
I buy a lot of American products because the quality is convincing. Since this is sometimes difficult at Amazon, I prefer to buy the products from the manufacturer or distributor. The price is secondary for me, because I am a fan of good quality.
That's why I bought a Prusa, because good support is part of the product and, with a few exceptions, you can't say anything bad about this company.
There is always and everywhere something to complain and grumble about. I prefer to go there and put things in order.

You can go to the Real or Hagebaumarkt and get them cheaper.

Excuse the spelling.  I lived in Auerbach (Germany) for 5 years and I can’t remember exactly how to spell some words in German, but I can read them still.

That explains seeing you from time to time in the German part of the forum.

Yes.  I have traveled the word pretty wide. I have lived in 9 countries and I speak several languages, unfortunately, none of them well.

I really like these Balldriver Screwdrivers over standard allen wrenches.

RE: Tools: What do you recommend?

Please Don't use ball drivers to finally  tighten the M3 grub screws in the Bondtech gears and motor toothed pulleys, the ball end applies pressure away from the root of the hex socket  and is likely to split the hex sockets!

I think that be more true with smaller screws.

RE: Tools: What do you recommend?

Although I have used them on set (grub) screws, I typically do use standard allen wrenches.  Which really is only for attaching the gears/pulleys to the stepper motors.

I was mainly referring to using them on the standard screws.

RE: Tools: What do you recommend?

I use the ball drivers rather at badly accessible places. For final tightening they are not so well suited, because they can wear out the hexagon socket of the screw.

@joantabb

I agree with both, just more common with smaller more delicate screws.

@karl-herbert

Probably true also.
