Slic3r-PE config bundle for linux?

Any chance that us linux users can get a simple download for Slic3r-PE config bundle? Current method of "take it from OSX version" is really painful (download 450MB disk image, then locate/install 3rd-party utilities for foreign file system recognition, etc, for finally accessing a couple of small xml/text files).

I dread updating Slic3r-PE because of it (freshly-updated MK3s/MMU2s is idle and waiting)

Thanks (fingers crossed 🙂 )

The presets do come with the Linux version in the tarball and if you have your permissions right and system CA certificates in the right location, they get automatically updated by Slic3r as new versions are posted. I think the 'OSX' advice is outdated.

Thanks vojtech, that was helpful 🙂

Any similar suggestion for the pre-sliced models? (I know I could download source stls and slice but I like introducing only one variable at a time and starting with SD card prints)

Thanks!

Well, they should be on the SD card you got with the printer, right? Sadly, they weren't updated for ages even in the software releases and are rather obsolete. I'd go as far as to suggest to avoid them, use a popular object from this or another model site and slice with the default settings on a recent Slic3r-PE version (1.42.0-beta2 is the best currently) with current settings (it'll autoupdate if everything works right).
