Review: PINDA Option on Amazon

POLISI3D P.I.N.D.A. Probe V2

I had to replace these on two fo my printers.  I order them from Prusa.  I am very happy with ordering them from Prusa but decided to give another option a try.  I was apprehensive after seeing one bad review.  It worked perfectly.  I am very happy.  It is a drop-in replacement and It seems better constructed.  P.I.N.D.A. V2 for Prusa by POLISI3D is working better than expected and they ship very fast for US customers.

I chose this probe because of PRIME shipping.  The only gripe I have is that the OD of the main body (threaded part) was 0.309" and the original measures 0.304".  It does matter in that it makes it harder to adjust up and down within the holder.   The holder remains snug around the probe once tightened.  It does take a little more tinkering to adjust at times, but the top is better insulated than the Prusa probe.

To start, I would rate this as a 4/5 and I would recommend it to anyone who like the convenience of Amazon Prime Shipping.

RE: Review: PINDA Option on Amazon

Does the Amazon PINDA have the LED on top that displays on/off status. I had ordered a spare from Printed Solid. Nice probe, but sadly, no status LED.
