PrusaPrinters [privacy concerns]

Hello all, I am looking into buying the MK3s for myself but am being discouraged because of the possible privacy concerns with prusaprinters website. The map seems to have locations of anyone who has ordered a printer from their website and that is extremely uncomfortable and an exploitation of privacy to me. Is there a way to keep your location from the website or opt out of the prusaprinters map? Considering Prusa research is in the Czech Republic, they are subject to the GDPR regulations. This seems to be going against those as well as an invasion of privacy regardless. I explored the map and the accuracy is way too detailed. I really hope there is a solution to this as this is the only thing keeping me from buying an excellent MK3s.

You can change this by altering your settings.

Hello,

There is no link between Prusa3D (shop) and PrusaPrinters (forum, prints, groups) if you don't want one. Just create different accounts on the two sites. You just registered to the forum, so your "public" account is set and you can edit.
Prusa is under GDPR EU law, it's right. It means Prusa Research has no choice but protect your privacy.

A few years ago when the map was implemented, there was changes and options added so peoples location was not an exact location. Plus it is an option where you can change your location on the map. For example if you look at my location, I live in the middle of a lake that is about 100 miles away from me.

If you are still concerned @adesir gave a good alternative so you have a actual purchasing account and another account for the forums. as well.
