Whats your best matt finish Filaments folks? im struggling to find a really nice one. im waiting for my Prusament order to arrive, as that looks less shiny than most standard PLA.

PrintedSolid carries the MatteForge line of matte PLA if you're after a true matte finish. Proto-pasta makes a matte-fiber line.

3DXTech's low-gloss PETG is matte as well if you are open to using PETG. AtomicFilament has a matte black PETG.

Matterforge are just repackaged filaments (with an extra markup added)

Original is available from here

They are very good filaments & a definite Matte finish if thats what you are after

I have been using filamentive PLA for sometime, what i have found with it is that the lower the hot end temperature the more the finish becomes matt. at about220 degrees it is gloss like and lower than 195 degrees it appears to be matt.

Maybe you could have a trial with silk pla filament. Silk like and glossy finish there. You could buy from amazon.

Re: Matt finish Filaments...

you might use up nozzles up abit faster but ProtoPasta iron and all other metal filaments are very matt (unless you polish them)

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.
