Malicious Spam

Of what use is the REPORT icon if no one hears it?  This spam came in ... it was reported. And it is still there.  The links in the post look rather suspicious, and at least one scanner reports it as malicious.

RE: Malicious Spam

I reported it as well. But then I didn't follow up to see if it still existed. My guess is the moderators are having at least as much problem with this new system as us mere mortals.

You have no idea.

I did pick up this post yesterday, even though it passed straight through the "Approval" system and I immediately reported the problem to the devs.

I left it in place so that they could figure out what happened with it.

Then I found another, but without links and reported that as well.

As for the "Report" button...  As far as I can tell, that doesn't do very much at the moment.  I certainly can't see any reports anywhere.

I can't find any report either. Hard to be an admin when the software doesn't provide the tools to do it properly.

Sounds like the report button is broken? I definitely reported it too. On the previous software it was usually gone in a matter of minutes (since I'm guessing it would put up a notification on any active moderator's screen)

I have no idea whether it's broken or not.  Like Richard, I just cannot find where the reports are located 🙁

In the old forum, the notifications were at the top of the screen and it was very easy with a few moderators online all the time to deal with these.  Now moderators have to go looking.  I know where the "Unapproved" posts are listed, but that's about it.
