Any updates on Prusament being available on Amazon before the end of the year?

Just hit the refresh button all the time like all of us 😆

I am wondering it is is on the schedule with the PC sheets returning to the store.

Any idea when Prusament PETG will be available on Amazon EU?

After PLA is available.

Prusament PETG is not even available in the online store how can it be available at Amazon EU anytime soon?

Their PETG just hit the online store shelves... Hope they wave shipping again for the end of the year.

Looking forward to being able to buy off of Amazon, that $20 shipping to the US hurts.

I finally see a listing on Amazon but no availability yet so no pricing yet either. But it is closer.

Re: Launching Prusament – the best filament that you can inspect yourself!

I'm having issues with Prusament. Several times my printer has stopped printing part way through a model but carried on as if it thought it was still printing. I assumed the nozzle was blocked and unloaded and re-loaded the filament. It wasn't blocked and the filament went straight through. After several days I've realised that it's only the Prusament that is doing this and the grey/silver PLA that came with the printer has never failed.

Do you need to change the settings? I posted this query on a Facebook page and found someone else having the same issue

I am hoping that the new filament is better than the one I received with my MK2s. It was grey and had multiple tangle problems as it unrolled. I finally threw it away. Purchasing filament now from Hatchbox. I have been happy with it so far. If price and shipping are comparable, I will be glad to try the Prusament.

At least you can purchase Galaxy Silver already. Galaxy Black is not even available for sale.
$42 must be a joke. It's almost the same price like buying from prusa directly $44.79 (to US)

I get it cheaper than that by buying multiple rolls.

Re: Launching Prusament – the best filament that you can inspect yourself!

exactly at that $42.14 price I will buy direct from Prusa 4 or 5 rolls at a time
at$30 amazon price or even $32 I will buy from amazon as the quality can sustain that price for me.

I wonder if the $42 is Amazon auto pricing based on the number of folks signing up to be told it is in stock?

or was that price set by Prusa? What is the VAT bite for a kilo bought in Prague for use there? 15% 20%

there ae export shipping costs to be factored in as well as required inventory levels to be maintained for sale by amazon which also wants their cut

Czech VAT is 21%. It does seem that $42 is excessive. Amazon may be protecting its own budget brand and/or applying the markup %age it applies to cheap imports. The price may settle down but that is unlikely if demand is so high.

The pricing has been discussed on the FB groups and Prusa have stated the current Amazon price is incorrect. Correct pricing will be shown when stock is replenished, but it will be around $29.99 per roll - which of course may vary as more colours and materials are introduced.

Edited to correct the estimated price.

I'm surprised it's still in stock. It's been noted on Reddit for several hours. It looks like they stocked up a good amount.

Also interesting to see the previous $41 price shown as "previous". Perhaps that was an Amazon trick so they can show savings?

I'm impressed that a relatively small company in Prague has been able to work things out with the behemoth that is Amazon. I don't need any PLA right now, but am keeping my eyes out for PETG.
