Re: Launching Prusament – the best filament that you can inspect yourself!

While I'm waiting for the e-shop chat: is anybody actually getting any Prusament?

I ordered four rolls a month ago and was told 'give us a week to ship!'.

Two weeks ago I checked with chat on a Saturday and was told 'shipping Monday!'. I guess they didn't say *which* Monday. Two more weeks and nothing.

Waiting for chat again now, but I'm not sure the point as it is clear the responses from the chat-support are not reliable. I don't think they are deceiving me, but clearly they do not have accurate information.

Just curious if others have had better luck.

Yes, but it does depend on colour. I received Pink, Blue and Red at the beginning of last week.

My problem is I ordered four rolls of different colors, which pretty much guarantees one of them will be the 'slow' color. Right now, apparently Pink is the hold-up, with no word on when it might be available. With shipping costs to the US, I don't want to split the shipment if I can avoid it. Ah, well Inland PLA is working fine for my MMU2 now.

It seems they tend to announce new products way before they are ready to be ready to be released. You order/pay for the item, they B/O the item and you set and wait, and your money is in their Bank.

I guess they get to count their Chickens before the Eggs are hatched!

I love my MK3 and would like to use Prusa Filament.

Peace, Love & Applesauce.

Hi Jakub, that's great, how do you do it? I don't find that option.

If you do it that way I presume you go to the bottom of the list.

Peace, Love & Applesauce.

I'll just second that I'd be thrilled when Prusament is available via Amazon Prime shipping. For buying filament, the shipping costs are a huge percentage add to the cost of the filament, so Amazon Prime's "free" shipping is a huge savings, to the point where I almost always buy filament via Amazon Prime unless I need something specialty. And it's got to be much more efficient to bulk ship a huge load of Prusament to an Amazon warehouse in the US instead of individually shipping each order internationally. (And yes, I know the shipping isn't really free, it's paid for by the sellers, but the numbers still work out much better...).

I received my Blue Prusament with my MK3 kit, Did not print with is yet but the math seems great.
Example, 2 pieces each 10cm filament with max tolerance +/-0.02 is only 2%/mm2 difference compared to 2 pieces with +/-0.05 being 5% off.

Nope, I wonder if there will be a delay announced?

Hey Jakub, that's pretty awesome to hear... but I've crawled all over the prusa shop and see no way to actually do that. Unless you're referring to the "invoice payment"? which doesn't really have any indication that you won't pay until it ships. That method also means paying a pretty sizable fee to my bank to initiate a foreign wire... they also caution that doing so is dangerous and will flag my account for further scrutiny.

Would love to know how that is possible for future orders... the couple hundred dollars of mine y'all have been sitting on for nearly a year now could have earned enough interest to pay for a roll of Prusament by now.

If you add the item to your wish list, you will get an email when it is in stock.

Any idea when Prusament PETG will be available on Amazon EU?

Normal people believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.
