How to hide specific users in the Prints DB

I'm wondering if there's a way to hide specific users in the Prints DB?

I know it sounds mean of me, but there are a number of prolific posters who flood the Prints DB with things that are less than useful to others...

I get that learning how to do things is neat, but without sharing their actual learnings, posting a zillion variations of a similar theme kind of makes seeing what new wonders the Prints DB has to offer a bit of a chore, sometimes.

No offence, but I don't care about the journey to print 42 in as many ways as possible...

RE: How to hide specific users in the Prints DB

I wonder if the implementation may be a contributing factor? I have a few dozen designs uploaded, but I organized them into unique, but related groups so that people that are not interested did not have to scroll through them all.

The current issue with my approach is that if I add a print to one of the groups no one ever knows. Therefore, they will never know that the 'greatest print model ever' has been uploaded.  🙂

It would be nice if there was a 'category' called something like 'Recently updated' where existing prints that were updated recently would show up. Recent could be defined to be the last two weeks, for example. Then I, and other members, could browse it if interested. I am a strong believer in displaying the minimum required information and giving user the choice to expand it or not.

This is where community and company interests could diverge. Using groups of related models in 'one' print that can be updated could reduce the noise, but it will reduce the number of prints that PR can report.

less than useful to others...” is purely subjective. What others may find useful, I may not, but if properly documented I can sometimes find a nugget that I can use in one of my projects.

Unless PR decides to list updated projects in their own category(if it is even doable), the community with have to put up with it. Even then, some people will continue doing things the same way.
