Has anyone else noticed that the usernames in the forum have been changed? Have I missed something there?
It was tweeted about by Jo, they have harmonised all names on all Prusa sites.
They've made changes so that users have the same details across forum / prints / blog.

Thanks for the tip. I just checked this and took back my old names, as the other users know them 👍 .
I like my new name ... and they also seem to have locked me out of my account so I won't be able to change it... lmao.
Hmmmm.... I seem to have stopped being a moderator...
Pooh!
Joan.t is now Joan Tabb
BooHoo....
Wonder if I can log in as me a different way!

Please tell me that the store site with my personal information is not being directly tied to these discussion forums. I would never enter that amount of personal information into a discussion site account.

Can be easily remembered in any case 😊
I was able to log into the store and demand they dump my personal info via the new European Privacy rules. Now awaiting an "administrator" to do the final kill. If I disappear from this forum, we have confirmation the money accounts are linked to these much less secure peer accounts.
They really really should have announced any changes well in advance and given people a chance to react to it rather than this badly done roll out.
Well, there is some good news... I can't list the posts that require approval,
Seek and ye shall find... My access has moved, I feel whole again... 😀
Tomorrow will be better! 🙂

My profile has been highjacked by MattG - Matt Garbarino. The information that I placed in my profile is the same as it always was, but the picture (I didn't have one) and the name (Janet Schrock) has been changed. Does anybody know how this happened and/or how I can correct it?

I wouldn't blame Matt. I suspect there have been some problems on Prusa's servers and a few things are getting screwed up.

There was about 152,000 accounts synchronized recently. The web developers will take a look at the accounts and see what the case is and correct it. A safe assumption is that they accidentally merged somehow during the sync. They will look into it as soon as possible when they return to work on Monday.
I apologize for the inconvenience of this and will be fixed asap.

Accounts on each web service are stored and managed separately - there is no connection between e-shop customer's database and forum database. Both services, however, using the same authentication of users via the service of Prusa Account. It is the same principle as (for example) using Facebook or Google account to log in to various internet services. That means, that after you asked to disable your e-shop account, it is disabled, but your Prusa Account is still active and you can post on forums.
In regards to your request, we have 30 days to comply, so we will process it as requested and you will receive a notification once it is completed. It could be sooner, but I wanted to provide some sort of time frame for you .
Thanks
Shane
I am glad my name switched. I like this one better. The other one was my name. I like a little anonymity on the web.
