Filament resistant to solvents?

Anybody know of a filament that can resist all types of solvents, such as, brake cleaner?  I'm trying to use PP (Polypropylene) and it holds up extremely well to automotive chemical and fuel, but the tradeoff is that it is super hard to print.  It warps really bad and always leaves evidence of the print surface if I'm using packing tape.  If I use a PP sheet, it near impossible to remove from the sheet without destroying the sheet itself.

Please help, I need a good solution for my work.

Sneak into a store and look at the bottom of the bottles on the shelf.  There should be a triangular SPI recycling code, it will declare the type of plastic used.  That plastic is resistant enough to be a container, next check whether it's available as filament.

Cheerio,

PP and PE are ones to choose if they need to be resistant to solvents. PA is feasible for some solvents as well.
And about bed adhesion, packing tape as you already used is the way to go for PP or PE.
With PA, glue stick works quite well.

I was looking to print a filler cap for a petrol chainsaw the other day and found this table which may be useful to you:

https://www.plasticsintl.com/chemical-resistance-chart

In my case I thought I might have to use something specialist but decided to use PETG although having tried it yet.  I'll just give it a go and see how it holds up but you could always test some in a jam jar to be sure.

PS. I'd normally just buy one but no longer available for the particular model of saw.

Thanks for the chart -- very handy.

Of the common filament types, looks like PET/PETG will be among the best for resisting most chemical solvents.

Yes, I was a bit surprised about PETG, thought I might have to use nylon.

I'm just printing some logos for on wheel centre caps, I'm using Prusa ASA and it prints like a dream in comparison to the ABS I've tried.

I'm thinking of putting a sample PETG print under the bonnet to see how it holds up to heat.

Yeah ... I have gasoline scraps in PET jars and they will hold up for a long time.
