Hi, I'm new here and need a little help, I built a Prusa I3 style 3d printer using 8mm lead screw on all the axis X Y and Z (don't ask) and when using Prusaslicer I have to edit the feed speed every time in Notebook from F5400 to F1600 and F2700 to F1400  and was wondering if there was a way to set this change in Prusaslicer so I don't have to continuously do it in Notebook, thanks😊

In advanced mode, you can set machine settings under Printer Settings->Machine limits, and individual move speeds under Print Settings->Speed. Are your speeds simply too fast, or do you really just need to set different steps per mm in your printer settings so the values you select in PrusaSlicer match your printer's speeds?

Do you have to make corrections with other slicers, or only PrusaSlicer?

It sounds like you might benefit from doing the extruder calibration. Matt's Hub has an excellent write-up on the procedure. Basically, you want to verify that your extruder extrudes exactly the amount of filament its told to, and adjust the steps/mm setting until it does.

Hi, I only use PrusaSlicer and have done extruder calibration, I think because all my axis use 8mms lead screws instead of belts PrusaSlicer feed speeds are too fast ....
