Anyone printed LW PLA?

Hello again all. Apologies if this is not the right place to post.  I’m about to print my first scale aircraft design and have bought some LW PLA from Colorfabb in the Netherlands. This promises to cut the regular PLA weight down at least 30% so am quite excited. Has anyone experience printing this foaming material and if so any suggestions on settings? Many thanks in advance, Mike.

RE: Anyone printed LW PLA?

I have printed a 50 gm sample and it prints well with no issues.  The only issue I have had is post-print.  As with all PLAs, it tends to flex with high temperatures. I live in GA (USA) and care temperatures can get hot enough to soften it.

Thanks for that. I'm printing a pair of winglets and so far using Colorfabb at 240 degrees for the nozzle all seems to be going swimmingly. I am getting a lot of stringing between the objects - any suggestions how to remove or reduce these?

Ha - I think I solved my own question ... just going to print one object at a time 🤣
