Can bomb

Don't worry, I didn't print actual weaponry 😉

The lid clicks onto the can. If you'd use a lid without a hole for a straw this means you could use it to keep an opened can from losing its fizz.

It's such a near-perfect fit the air can't escape fast enough, creating a temporary air cushion while the can slides in:

Fallout mini-nuke and Stella can for scale:

You can find the original designer's STL's on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1684121
Printed with ICE Filaments PLA
Sliced with Simplify3D
Layer height set to 20µm,
Infill set to rectilinear (to save time)
Enabled support material for the radioactive symbol

Overall print time for the bottom was 9 hours & 40 minutes for the bottom, 2 hours & 20 minutes for the lid.

Re: Can bomb

This is a great print. The box in the first picture is comically appropriate. 😀
